Congratulations Cory Firth on receipt of the Director General's Award!

The Orenda Executive is pleased to announce that our very own Cory Firth, Head Coach at Orenda Canoe Club, has been awarded the 2009 Director Generals's Award. This award is given out annually by the Canadian Canoe/Kayak Association to recognize Coaching Excellence.  It is presented to a coach who contributes  to the development or advancement of sprint canoe/kayak outside of or in addition to their regular club coaching duties.

Canada Summer Games 2009

Congratuations to Kelsey Cuvelier who won a silver medal at the Canada Games in a C-4 500m boat with a time of 2:04.167.
