3 Positions Open for Election
The Executive of the Atlantic Division will have 3 positions open for election at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. These positions are Vice Flag Bantam/Peewee, Vice Flag Midget/Senior and Facilities Chairperson. All positions are important for the smooth running of the Division, do not require former experience, and will be supported by the current persons who are stepping down. These are positions where you will learn how the Division operates and get your Club's persepective into decisions taken. Detailed position descriptions are available from Ralph Orton, Past Flag Officer at r.h.orton@hotmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you.

Orenda Canoe Club Has a New Secretary
Michelle Zareski has volunteered to take on the Orenda executive position of Secretary, leaving us to say goodby to Karen Cooke. Due to other commitments, Karen is unable to continue in her role on the Orenda executive at this time.
"I enjoyed keeping Orenda informed of all the happenings at our busy club. Thank you for a couple great years." Karen writes as she passes the baton to Michelle Zareski.
Please send any email correspondence to Michelle's email address: michelle@homesinmetro.com
If anyone knows of an Orenda member or affiliate who is not on the Orenda group email list but wishes to be, please contact Michelle.
Atom Champs Regatta Report
We had a very successful, long day at the Atom Champs and we want to officially thank all of those volunteers who made it happen.
Without you it would not have been possible. We put in a very long tiring day and our Atom paddlers certainly enjoyed every moment.
We have done up some numbers of how we did.
- In our BBQ and Canteen areas we are looking at $2,052.00 profit not including the re-imbursement that we will get from the division for expenses.
- Our 50/50 draw brought in $104.00
- Our T-Shirt sales sold $720.00 in T-Shirts.
A very profitable day!!!
Thanks very much on behalf of the Orenda Executive for all the time and effort that everyone has put in.
Katheleen Dalley, Orenda Registrar
